All worship services at St. Paul's use the liturgy in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, and the Holy Eucharist is the central focus of our corporate worship. Music enhances the worship experience and is important in parish life at St. Paul’s. Hymns are selected from the 1982 Hymnal and from the 1993 Lift Every Voice and Sing II.

Pastoral Ministry
The church community and the parish staff readily provide help and support for those important and critical events in our journey through life. The sacraments and rites of the Episcopal Church speak to each of the following occasions and are available to those who desire them.
Requests should be made to the clergy if you wish information about any of the following:
- Baptism and Confirmation
- Holy Matrimony
- Reconciliation (confession) and counseling
- Illness/Hospitalization/Private Communion
- Burial Office and Funerals
Rock Creek Cemetery responds to the needs of families and visitors from near and far. It is a sanctuary of beauty, history and grace for the burial of loved ones. Although nearly 300 years old, burial space is still available. Today, its historical burial plots, famous memorials, artistic statuary and splendidly landscaped grounds attract visitors from around the world.
Parish Ministry
These groups offer opportunities to share time and skills in ministries which add to the unique beauty and rhythm of our worship experience.
Acolytes: Young people (ages 7 and up) assume various roles in worship services. The program includes training, trips, fun activities and fundraising projects.
Altar Guild: Behind the scenes, participants in this lay ministry are responsible for preparing the sanctuary for all regular Sunday services and other special services on a year-round basis.
Lay Readers and Chilicists: These trained and licensed members of the parish family read from the Scriptures and prayer book or adminster the cup during Holy Eucharist.
Ushers: A team is assigned to each service to greet worshipers and distribute service materials.
Outreach
St. Paul’s has a long history of providing support and outreach to a broad base of organizations and projects. While community based need is a priority, support has also been provided via grants to religious, educational and environmental needs and organizations.
