Getting here by public transportation
Take the Metro (Red Line) to CUA/Brookland. Then take Metrobus Route H8 'Mount Pleasant' which stops at the intersection of Rock Creek Church Road NW and Webster Street NW.

Take the Metro (Green, Red or Yellow Line) to Fort Totten. Then take Metrobus Route 60 "Georgia Avenue/Petworth" which also stops at the intersection of Rock Creek Church Road NW and Webster Street NW.

Driving directions

From downtown Washington
- North on 16th Street.
- Right onto Upshur.
- Upshur ends at Rock Creek Church Road facing the Soldier’s Home gate.
- Turn left onto Rock Creek Church Road and continue to Cemetery gate on left.

From US Capitol area
- North on North Capitol Street.
- Cross Michigan Avenue and Harewood and turn left onto Allison Street.
- Continue one long block to the end at Rock Creek Church Road. Turn left and then immediately right into Cemetery entrance (main gate).

From Washington National Cathedral Area
- North on Wisconsin Avenue, through Tenley Circle to Nebraska Avenue.
- Turn right onto Military Road.
- East on Military Road and cross Georgia Avenue (Military has become Missouri Avenue here).
- Turn right from Missouri onto North Capitol.
- Continue straight at the fork, onto Rock Creek Church Road, up the hill, to Cemetery gate on the right.

From Bethesda
- East on East-West Highway to Georgia Avenue.
- Right onto Georgia and then left onto Blair Road.
- Blair Road becomes North Capitol Street.
- Cross Missouri Avenue.
- Continue on North Capitol to the fork; keep straight onto Rock Creek Church Road. Cemetery gate is up the hill, on the right.

From College Park Area
- South on US Rt. 1 (Baltimore Ave.), right to East-West Highway, and then left to Queens Chapel Road.
- Queens Chapel Road will become Michigan Avenue.
- Turn right from Michigan onto Taylor Road NE.
- Turn right onto North Capitol Street and turn left onto Allison Street.
- Continue one block to the end at Rock Creek ChurchRoad. Turn left and then immediately right, into Cemetery entrance.

From Maryland Beltway
- Exit Beltway at New Hampshire Avenue South.
- Continue south on New Hampshire to North Capitol Street.
- Left onto North Capitol.
- Cross Missouri Avenue. Continue straight at the fork onto Rock Creek Church Road, up the hill, and to Cemetery gate on the right.

From 14th Street Bridge in Virginia
- North on 14th Street Bridge to Southeast Freeway.
- Exit at ‘D Street - Capitol’ and take tunnels to New York Avenue.
- Right onto New York Avenue.
- Take first right onto M Street -sign will say "to First Street and North Capitol". Go 2 blocks and turn left onto North Capitol.
- Take North Capitol to Allison Street and turn left.
- Continue one block to the end at Rock Creek Church Road. Turn left and then immediately right into Cemetery.

From Rt. 66 in Virginia
- Take Roosevelt Bridge to Constitution Avenue.
- Just before the Capitol building, bear left onto Louisiana Avenue.
- Left onto North Capitol Street, pass Michigan Avenue, and then left onto Allison Street..
- Continue one block to the end at Rock Creek Church Road. Turn left and then immediately right into Cemetery.

Directions from Main Gate
To St Paul's Episcopal Church:
- Straight ahead and down the hill.
- Park on the road in front of the church.

To the St. Paul's Center:
- Take first left, to parking area beside large, red-brick, white-columned building.
